We've always been huge fans of Colossus since they came to Long Beach but consider me a super fan now! I prebooked mini croissants and coffee boxes for a kids birthday party and everything was beyond perfect. All the parents were asking me where everything came from because it was all so fresh and delicious. Mariah was wonderful to work with and the delivery was right on time. We love Colossus!!

Colossus is an absolute gem of a bakery. Incredible products, staff, service and selection of curated local goods. The open bakery is beautiful and everything that they put out is simply gorgeous. The seasonal items are always phenomenal and I strongly recommend checking them out! Coffee is nice with good milk alternative options, I originally fell in love with the San Pedro location and the Belmont location is just such an awesome extension of that. The Belmont location is so well put together, designed, and styled, plus it has a great menu throughout the day. Lots of seating outside and parking within walking distance. A lovely place with local roots bringing beautiful baked goods to the South Bay & Long Beach areas-a must try if you’re in the area.

My favorite bakery in the area. They have a great selection of pastries as well as sandwiches and brunch options. Their drinks are also delicious, especially the strawberry matcha latte. The sandwiches are fantastic but if you can only get one thing I'd go for the pastries. The texture they achieve is out of this world as well as having great flavors and fillings.

I had a wonderful experience at this delightful bakery! I highly recommend a visit if you are ever in the neighborhood. The coffee was exceptionally good. My friends and I enjoyed the Iced Gingerbread Latte with Cold Foam (7/10) and the Midsommar Latte (9/10), both delicious, with the Midsommar Latte being particularly delicious! We also thoroughly enjoyed the Citrus Mascarpone Oat Streusel Sweet Danish—a perfect 10/10! I appreciated that the tip was included, making the ordering process very convenient. And no extra charge for alternative milk options! Perfect ! I plan to return if ever near the neighborhood.

This place has awesome breads and pastries. I love their breakfast sandwich with bacon added! There are a few seats outside but this is mainly a pick up and go type of place. They are expanding and will have indoor seating in the future.

The San Pedro location, unfortunately, wasn’t accepting online orders, so I made the trek to the Long Beach location. Thankfully, this location was accepting online orders, sparing me a 6 a.m. pastry pilgrimage. I scheduled a 12:45 p.m. pickup but didn’t arrive until 1:45 p.m., so I won’t fault the pastries if they weren’t piping hot. Colossus Bakery on 2nd Street sits near some of my favorite Long Beach spots, like Holey Grail Donuts and Win-Dow. I ordered three items: a cardamom bun, kouign amann, and pecan sticky bun, eaten in that order, which also reflects my ranking. The cardamom bun was delicious: the spice came through without overpowering the pastry. It was denser and doughier than the light, airy pastries I usually favor, but still excellent. The kouign amann was similarly dense, though each bite had a satisfying audible crispness. The pecan sticky bun lived up to its sticky reputation with plenty of nuts, though it ended up my least favorite of the three (but still very good). Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my pastries. I imagine they’d be even better fresh or warmed, and I can’t wait to work through the rest of the menu. Colossus Bakery has officially joined my elite Los Angeles/Long Beach pastry rotation. Highly recommended!

The coffee is on level 1. I’m just a classic flat white girl, no perversions lol. Well done! And bakery looks delicious, haven’t tried yet.

Colossus is worth the hype! I dropped in while killing time in Long Beach and am happy I did. I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte which was a perfect balance of sweet and herb 🌿 For baked goods, I went with the following: 1) Cardamom Bun : $5.50 - Loved the simple yet elegant nature to this one. Just a hint of cardamom with a soft, warm interior made this a lighter option. 2) Pumpkin Almond Chocolate Twice Baked Croissant : $8 - seasonal special croissant that was unique. I loved the duo of 🎃 and 🍫! 3) Twice Baked Almond Croissant : Great outer crunch with soft interior. Solid croissant!

I needed to kill some time before my nail appointment, and I stumbled upon this bakery. I didn't get a chance to try a coffee (gave it up for Lent 😩), but i did try the iced tea/lemonade. The name escapes me but it was really good! The breakfast sandwiches were sold out, so get there early if you wanna try them. I had the egg in a basket....the bread was so good! I'm definitely coming back again. No seating! Grab & Go!

The staff here is AMAZING. The coffee is perfect everytime. The bread and all of the breakfast meals are incredible. They are expanding so hopefully they will have a sit down area soon. Bree and Leah and THE BEST!!!
